1. WHITE SNEAKERS
A good white sneaker is a wardrobe must because of the fact it will pairs well with jeans, skirts, shorts, mini dresses and everything else in between. Every woman needs a comfy sneaker to kick back on the weekends or wear on casual Friday. I prefer clean white sneaker over others, because it gives a semi-sophisticated/dressy vibe.
2) BLACK 3 INCH PUMPS
It’s impossible to get through life without black pumps. Buy 3-inch pumps that you can actually walk in. These special silhouette will also go with literally everything — whether it’s jeans and a tee or your power suit for work
Tip: Find a lower pair with a pointed toe and a slim heel — both of which will make the pair appear higher than it really is.
3)NUDE HEELS SANDALS
For a delicate yet formal look do keep a pair of sleek heeled sandals. The elegant delicate straps project a level of formality that not only work for the office, but also for after-hour drinks and evening events. A pair in a neutral shade will work with whatever. Beige and black are my favorite.
4)A WILD PRINT STILETTOS
A more colorful and strikingly snazzy pair is a must. In the shoe realm, sometimes the aesthetic trumps practicality. For trendier workplaces or special events kick up your style quotient with super-chic statement stilettos that are meant to be ogled. Pick a leopard, tiger, or zebra print it looks fabulous with monotone outfits.
5)WEDGES (OR FLATFORMS)
Remember that garden party where your heels sunk into the grass? If you bought a platform wedge sandal so save yourself next time from any embarrassment, you’ve nailed it! Wedge is comfortable enough to wear (and walk in and dance in) for long periods of time. You’ll get miles out of them with floaty dresses and leg-lengthening flared jeans
Ditch the flip flops, (Well, outside of the pool!) and get serious. To ease the pain of letting go, here’s what you should have- a pair of chic leather sandals. They’re just as easy to slide into but far more sophisticated and versatile. Pair your neutral or metallic ones with everything from casual shorts to a fancy lace dress.
Oh, I love them! Ladies, one pair of ballet flats is an indispensable element of your footwear collection. Being-a-woman survival rule #1 is to always keep a pair of simple flats on hand. It rescues you from dragging your foot at parties/work in high heels.
When you’re in a mood to loaf around, Loafers are your best friends! Though they come in a ton of colors, materials and varying levels of embellishment, the safest one is a pair of classic brown suede/leather loafers. It can never go wrong!
D’orsay flats are comfortable and still polished enough to be seen at the office. You can also slip it on for a long commute. Having a black D’orsay flat is my personal favourite.
You should have a slim knee-high (or even a thigh-high) or an ankle length boots, depending on your country’s weather. For Asians wearing ankle length boots during winters are good enough. Well if you can afford all three there’s nothing like it as these are the great season transcenders. Worn with skinny jeans in the fall, they’ll make your legs look longer, or paired with a swingy skirt in the spring, they’ll add just a touch of edge to an otherwise feminine silhouette.
…..and with that, you complete your must-have footwear collection. Every other pair is a top-up !
