So, this article explains, in simple terms what do terms like EDF, EDC, EDT and EDP means, how much perfume concentration does each of these have, how long are they going to stay on your body and the best part- Where can you wear these?

  1. EDF or Eau Fraiche has a low fragrance concentration, containing between 1% and 3% oils, and lasts around two hours.

Eau Fraiche doesn’t contain a high amount of alcohol. Instead, oils are mixed with purified water, making it inexpensive and safe for those with sensitive skin. It’s also good for your holidays, You can use the eau de fraiche to refresh after a workout or when you just chilling at the beach or even at interviews

2. EDC or Eau de Cologne has a much lower concentration of fragrance than all of the above. It is a lighter and less costly version of a certain fragrance scent.

EDC typically consist of 2% to 4% fragrance and a high concentration of alcohol. This makes the scent higly colatile and it evaporates quickly in 2–4 hours time.

You can wear it to work, Just try to keep it understated and subtle. Too much can suffoate the people around you.

3. EDT- Next up is Eau de Toilette (EDT) with a fragrance concentration of between 5% to 15%, making it cheaper than EDP. EDT fragrance usually last for 4–6 hours, and is the most popular one.

EDT is the another option for you besides EDC that is suitable for office and Networking events.

4. EDP- Eau de Parfum (EDP), is the next highest, with a concentration of between 15% to 20%. This fragrance type is less expensive than Parfums and typically last for 6–8 hours.
